"We're gonna miss George a lot,"
Stewart said. "He's a very likable

Stewart.
Camp served in the intramural
director position this past year. At
that time, "it was a temporary fulltime
position," according to Stewart.
The position has now been fully
funded allowing the full-time personnel
status.
Fifty candidates applied for the
position.
"We thought a lot of Herbert.
During the past year, I have had the
priviledge to work with Herbert. He
is student and service-oriented,"
Stewart said.
Stewart said improving safety in
campus recreation is a priority.

"One of the goals of this office is
to make the program safer and more
enjoyable."
Of special concern is the intramural
football program. It will be
Camp's responsibility to make pro
posals to eliminate some of the
dangers involved in the sport, according
to Stewart.
Reorganization of duties has also
been on Stewart's agenda since being
hired as the Campus Recreation
Director one year ago.
The intramural position will include
the responsibilities of organizing
special events, a task previously
assigned to the former Director of
Sports Clubs and Special Events.

Hensley comes to USC from Old
Dominion Univeristy in Norfolk,
Virginia where she currently serves as
Fitness Coordinator.
She began her employment at
Carolina August 1.
"There were a number of very
qualified applicants. I think it speaks
favorably of Carolina that she turned
down an offer at Princeton to accept
the position here," Stewart said.
The component of fitness to this
job is a new one.
Stewart said participants at
Carolina desire fitness as well as
recreation.
