Morrison met with Bethea on Thursday and Friday before announcing his decision to allow him to play for the Gamecocks. "Ryan Bethea has been reinstated to the University of South Carolina football team. We certainly are excited about having him with us," Morrison said. The 21-year-old Columbia resident was dismissed from the team in February after being charged on Feb. 4 with possession and intent to distribute cocaine and possession of marijuana.
