However, the 12 mergers or acquisitions of South Carolina's banks last year and the three proposed acquisitions for this year have not slowed recruiters from calling at USC. "So far, all of the major banks are recruiting heavily," said Alesia Mosely, director of the on-campus recruiting program. Although Mosely said she has only worked with recruiting for one year at USC, she feels there are more bank recruiters this year than last. Scott Derks, a marketing director of Citizens and Southern National Hank, said although they have merged with C & S of Georgia and have acquired two other banks, there will be no changes in C & S hiring practices. est auto insurance coi ictors that will deter- and about an additioi rate of increase for year for males under 2 II be the individual's For a 1984 sports ca nuch it is driven, the the Pontiac Trans-Ai driver and whether the Chevolct Camaro, fern had any accidents, 21 can expect an in about $25 per year ? said there are two under 21 can expect a r computing rates for of about $50 per year, a lower rate system for These conditions ai drivers and a higher average full-coverage r 11-time drivers. includes $5,000 for pc time driver could in- jury, $100 deductible c< ver who has insurance sive coverage, $200 parents' policy or a collision coverage an ident who is insured to liability coverage. r his spouse's policy. Because C & S has to compete with different markets and promotions in the three states, the company will run almost as it had before the merger. "We will still be visiting the campuses of South Carolina as we have in the past. We will still be hiring and we need very good, very bright people," Derks said.
