use Spri features Every spring USC Dance Company Director Susan" Anderson tries to outdo herself. She said she's determined to make this year's spring dance concert more attractive than previous performances. The concert performances will be held tonight through Sunday at Drayton Hall. Four varieties of dance ? classical, abstract ballet, ethnic and modern ? will be featured in the six-dance concert. Anderson and her associate, movement specialist Eleanor Weisman Fears, have choreographed four works. Anderson has contributed two ballets ? one classical, the other modern and abstract. The first is an excerpt from "La Esmeralda," a classical 19th century ballet featuring Brenda Krcbs, a USC student who danced with the Kansas City Ballet, ana Larry nan, wno toadies dance in USC's evening program. The concert will be Fears' last work with the university. This summer, she will become dean of the Laban/Bartenicff Institute of Movement Studies, her alma mater in New York. The concert will be held at 8 p.m. tonight and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday.
