Lady Gamec By JOANNE KORTH Staff writer An offensive let-up in the last 7-10 minutes of the game may have cost the Lady Gamecocks a bis win. USC ennrh Nancn _ , ? -""'v; Wilson said after the 66-55 loss to North Carolina State Monday ( night at Carolina Coliseum. "I felt like in the last 7-10 minutes, before they started building a lead, defensively they let up and instead of us attacking aggressively at that point we let up offensively," Wilson said. "We took a couple of bad shots at a point where we still had plenty of time," she said. "1 think that's the thing I'm most disappointed in. "We need to capitalize on these situations becausc we're not the kind of quick team that when we get down there at the very end ' we're going to be able to expect steal after steal. We need to take advantage of a good situation." The Lady Gamecocks drop to 1-2 with the loss while N.C.State goes to 3-2. "This could have been a real good win for us, bui ui the same time we've got a lot of tough teams to come," she said. "We won't play anybody easy, so we need to learn from it and go on."
