The fancy fiddling in the background is effective in making this "Old McDonald" story a bit more realistic. The remake of Buddy Holly's 1957 "Everyday" is the shortest song on the album, but one of the best. Another oldie is a remake of the 1962 "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance." This definitely is a song that lifts one's patriotic spirit; it talks of gunfighting, freedom and love. The only problem with the album is its ending. After the final song, "Liberty Valance," a mysterious, five-second jam is heard, sounding much like the "Hill Street Blues" theme song. It's a saxophone combo with a lady singing softly "That's What 1 Feel." Overall, it is a great album because it is James Taylor ? no explanations necessary.
