The Klein Report, edited by football researcher Robert Klein, is the second preseason poll to include USC in the top twenty despite the fact that Coach Joe Morrison and his staff lost 23 players to gradua tion last year, including eight offensive and six defensive starters. Brittain signs pad The San Antonio Spurs announced Monday the signing of former USC basketball player Mike Brittain to a contract, the terms of which were undisclosed. Brittain, chosen 29th overall in the NBA draft June 18, will attend the Spurs' rookie camp beginning July 20.
