The executive council is composed of the president, vice president, secretary, treasurer and the nine committee chairman. Michael Vitti, current Cinematic Arts committee chairman, and Peter Asp, current Ideas and Issues committee chairman, are in the runoff for CPU president, said current union presi^ dent Glenn German. THE DISPUTE centered around the other three executive offices: vice president, secretary and treasurer. None of the three candidates had been in the union for two semesters, one of the requirements for holding an executive office according to the CPU constitution. The other two requirements, according to the CPU constitution, are a 2.0 grade point average and to have completed at least 36 hours by the spring semester after the elections. Donna Null, coordinator of student organizations, said there was nothing wrong with CPU waiving its bylaws.
