Sailing regatta to be held1 From Staff Reports THE USC sailing team opened its season last week at the eolith Points Reeatta in Charleston. The team sailed in the South Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association (SAISA) against Clemson University, College of Charleston, The Citadel, Georgia Institute of Technology and University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Although USC placed fourth in the regatta, Ellen Strack, team captain, said she is looking ahead to a successful season. Last year the sailing team advanced to the SAISA ninchv Chamnionshins. The USC sailing team has lost some valuable members this year, but the gaps have been filled by newcomers Skip McCabe and Bill Kalis. Returning from last year is Liz Canniff. The next regatta will be held at the Lake Murray Sailing Club this Saturday, Sept. 18, at 9:30 a.m. Participating universities will be Clemson, College of Charleston, The Citadel, Georgia Tech and UNC-Wilmington. If there is anyone interested in participating, please contact Ellen Strack at 777-1162. - n '? =o; Relax, Have Fun, Ew W. M? j?lJ?M H Enter a new wonderful ^ Iworiu 01 exuiiciiieia. j !
