The top hugger racked up 365 hugs and won a tshirt; and the two runners-up also walked away with prizes and memories. Aside from the hugging, most students do not realize all the fun and health benefits available to them, saia luric siein, coordinator for intramural and recreational sports. Speaking before disabled students of USC, he surprised them by revealing that the university owns for their use: 20 sailboats, 6 windsurfers, 2 airplanes, numerous canoes and a waterski boat that can put up to six surfers at one time. "We have something for everyone," Stein said. "We even have a frisbee club." Stein explained that the sports-recreational program is open to all students. "We let you decide what you want to get involved in," he said. There are activities that disabled students, as well as those simply out of shape can participate in: Swimming? The large pool has an elevator and a lift for the disabled. Horseshoe-throwing? "Anyone can do tnis, siein saia. Putt-putt golfing? ''Anyone can perform." Bowling classes and tournaments? "I had two blind students in my bowling class," Stein said. "One of them threw a 1%. And starting a tournament takes only four students." Happy Hour r ^ "^V^Pe. I 1 Hours at Kinko's.
