TO THE Kim UK
In response to Mr. Richardson's opinion in the Feb.
llGamecock, he has managed to distort the entire history
behind the Middle East crisis, and has made a personal affront
to Judaism. The Middle East crisis is not the result of
the Israeli Jews or their so-called terrorist leader, but that of
their intransigent Arab neighbors who fail to accept their
right to exist as a free and independent people. These are not
the first to deny the Jews a right to a peaceful and secure
homeland. Jews were expelled by the Romans and
Crusaders, and forced to flee to countries that never wanted
them there. After centuries of forced exile from their
homeland, countless purges and programs and the Nazi
genocide the .Tpws returned to the land of Israel.
Tell me, Mr. Richardson, where do you get these stories of
Israeli terrorism and atrocities? The Israeli independence
movement was no different from other long and violent
struggles in Atrica, Asia ana me wesiern nemispnere.
Whatever was done, was for the cause of freedom and
nothing more! Why don't we call George Washington, Simon
Bolivar, Lenin and Mugabe terrorists? Have you read of the

"kosher" in Israel. Native Palestinian civilians have been,
and are still being systematically, and maliciously evicted
from lands which have been passed down to them by previous
generations. Their homes and livelihoods are destroyed, and
then they are herded into concentration camps where they
are subject to humiliation, inhumane treatment and torture;
mental and physical torture which, of course, the "civilized"
Israeli Jews will arduously deny.

Jew settlements. _

Before passing judgment on the Israeli Jews, take a good bl
look at history and see who is the real cause of the terror in r;
the Middle East. Do not blame the Israelis or the Old l

hope in the Middle East. We cannot afford to lose this bastion
of freedom and democracy. r<

like some cheap side-show; much to the Jews' delights, and f
also to the delights of their pockets! ?
Israeli Jewish schools teach the young that Jews are the
"chosen people of God," and that Jews are "the superior c
race of the world." In addition to these brainwashings, they v
adhere to the fantasy that a god has promised them the J
nation nf Pal^stinp whirh thpv now nervert with the name *
Israel. Let us not forget that this "god" is the same god of the N
"Old Testament" which was written by Jewish mortals. *
Even "paradise" is not spared their "god-condoned"
monopolization. So with this mentality, we can well see the
obvious designs of the Jews to alienate the Palestinian
people.
There is no doubt that both Israelis and Palestinians have
engaged in their respective shares of terror and violence. But
let us not fail to recognize who the oppressed really are!

FHEATRE is one of USC's greatest landmarks. But it's fast

He didn't do anything to warrant being a hero. It's so ironic
because all the Vietnam war veterans who fought for this
