Midnight Bi By WANDA M.HITE Kesuuranl Lntit Located on 829 Knox Abbott Drive, An-Tungs sits back in the corner of a small shopping center. My partner and I went for lunch and found the place very quiet. We beat the lunch crowd. An-Tungs, a Chinese restaurant, offers a large variety for an extremely low price. The buffet during lunch is only $3.45. The menu rhan^ps from rtav to Hav A luncheon special is also offered for only $2.79. An-Tungs offers many items ranging from Peking Duck at $24.00 to Moo Goo Gai Pan at $4.95. For the student on a low budget the prices are just right. For lunch I tried the buffet which offered Wanton Soup, Egg Drop Soup, Sweet and Sour Chicken Livers and an Egg Roll. You may make as many trips as you like. Hot tea and iced tea are also offered. One of the special features at An Tungs that seems to be quite popular with students is the MidI 1 Presents Cou| t We'll Take Anyone's Coupon. : nn anyinci . It's good to take a break form the usual gamburgers and eggs. An-Tungs also offers a 10 percent discount for students and faculty with a USC Discount Card. With the prices as low as they are to begin with, a 10 percent discount really makes the trip well worth the effort. Because An-Tungs wants to cater to the students the midnight buffet, like the lunch buffet, changes daily. An-Tungs offers good basic foods that students usually can't afford in any other Chinese Restaurant. I think this is an important aspect. The service is good and the atmosphere is cozy. It's always nice to know you can still eat Chinese at an affordable price. Students should take advantage of this low priced restaurant. Deals like this are hard to find.
