M ? i uraauaie askoo i The USC College of Journalism is sponsoring a fund-raising | drive for Jacki Schnelzer, a 1981 journalism graduate injured | Nov. 7 in an automobile accident. I Schnelzer was returning to Columbia from her home in I Rock Hill when the accident occurred near Winnsboro. Since being admitted to Richland Memorial Hospital, Schnelzer has twice had surgery to treat head injuries. Recovery is expected to be lengthy. While at USC, she was graduate assistant to Dean A1 Scroggins in the College of Journalism and worked part time for the Associated Press. She earned a Master of Mass Communication degree in journalism in August and a B.A. in English in 1975. She is a 1970 graduate of Rock Hill High School, where she was 1 a reporter for the school 1 newspaper. I Schnelzer's mother died in an automobile accident Aug. 25; | her father, who was seriously injured in the same accident, is r recovering. Her two brothers live in Rock Hill. ; Donations will be used for upkeep and living expenses.
