Entertainn A j MEI801 By JOHN VAUGHAN Asst. Entertainment Editor Everybody loves <4good ol' Charlie Brown." so who could be a better representative for a new theater group than Charles Schulz' famous roundheaded kid? IT J1 14-year-old Leigh Darby plays Sally. It's tough to think of a more popular guy ? and the Act One Players' decision to stace "You're A Good Man. Charlie Brown" as its first production has proved to be a popular choice. "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown" is a musical comedy based on Schulz' "Peanuts" comic strip. Many short scenes ? each one like a single strip ? are woven around more than a dozen musical numbers. The cast features all the "Peanuts" favorites: Lucy, Linus, Snoopy, Patty, Sally, Schroeder, and, of course, Charlie Brown.
