Bobbie said "to represent the opportunity of the school," is the purpose of the Homecoming Queen. "USC has an inborn spirit; we have an alive university, and we need a queen to project that type image, said Bobbie. Bobbie is a member of Who's Who Among American College Students and a nominee for the German Honor Society. She was an alumni scholar and has been on the Dean's List and President's Honor Roll frequently. As a business major, Bobbie would like to have a career in international business and hopes to correspond between America and Germany. Bobbie is fascinated with the interaction between business and politics. She spent last summer working with Congressman Ken Holland in Washington. Bobbie asks that "students get involved and vote. Campus organizations and academic departments will present "The Spirit of Carolina" on the Horseshoe from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Carolina Day is being sponsored by the Homecoming Committee as a part of the Homecoming activities for USC.
