Perry not fit for trial From Staff Reports Donald Ray Perry, the man charged with murdering a USC education professor last month, has been found incompetent to stand trial, according to the 5th Circuit solicitor's office. However, Perry "is likely to become competent to stand trial in the foreseeable future," according to officials. Perry, 20, is charged with murder, kidnapping, armed robbery and first degree criminal sexual assault in connection with the shooting death of Dr. Mary J. Heimberger March 5. Perry has been at the hospital since March 9, when he was icmuveu i rum a uonu hearing shaking and hyperventilating.
