Carolina's Frisbee team could not rally enough strength
as they lost the final game of a best-of-three series against

In competition, the frisbee team plays a game known as
Ultimate. It is played like soccer, using a frisbee disc instead
of a ball. One point is awarded for each goal, and the
first team to score 15 points wins.
BEGINNING PLAY in a drizzle, Clemson drew first
blood, scoring on each of their first four possessions. The
deficit proved too much for Carolina to overcome in the
first half, ending at 7-2.
Led by team president Bill Corey, the Disc Lords scored
three points to pull within two. But, relying on a strong
defense and accurate passing, the Clemson team prevailed
15-9.

defensive plays by Dan O'Brien and offensively bv Russell
Horton, Eddie Schreffer and Corey. Clemson scored three
more points o make the halftime score 7-4.
Carolina scored the next eight points, turning the disc
over only six times in the second half, and ended the game
with eight straight points.
