The easy side is the most enjoyable to listen to, and contains the album's , two best songs. "All the Children Sing" is probably the catchiest tune on the album and features Todd's best vocal performance in years. His voice is what it was five years ago, but he still has a aengnuui siur tnat compliments his brilliant arrangements. ' "Determination" is the best rocker Todd has done since "When the Shit Hits the Fan" and and appears to be a product of the days when his romantic relationship was faltering. Todd showed on the "Meatloaf" album that he could still play a fast, clever guitar, and "Determination" is an excellent example of this. The arrangement of "Wolf" is nearly the same as "Wolfman Jack" on "Something-Anything," and neither song has much to offer. "Control" is the heavy rocker on the album, and though Todd has never been very successful in this format, this is one of his better attempts. The rest of the side two is gorgeous, and the album manages to end on a happy note. "Fade Away" is an optimistic song in which Todd and someone else have SOUTHERN WOl To Talk TO Who ?
