Most comments concerning the letter were complimentary and word of mouth heightened the issue until a petition campaign was organized. This has been a spontaneous movement on the part of a loose coalition of students who wish to express to the administration a point of view which is different than that of | our elected student government. In essence, we the students are indicating the undisputable fact that SG does not represent the students. Our critics response to this is that government is not represen tative of students because they do not vote. Obviously, this is not true for the case in point. If students are given a significant -L j vfiuiice 10 voice tneir opinion i by voting (or signing a I petition), they will vote. Kenny Paluch / Economics, Grad. Student
