Greeks From Dage 14 I the most part backs Greeks. It has been known to back nonGreeks, but usually only when the candidate is running unopposed or when none of the candidates for a particular office is Greek. I am not opposed to the IFC's stating who if fViinlre ic 111. liuuno u me UCOl LdllUlUitlt;, but a candidate's being Greek should not make him more qualified than other candidates. SOME GREEKS have complained that The Gamecock and the Garnet & tsiacK nave not given them sufficient coverage the last few years. In part their complaints are valid. I for one would like 1 to see a little more Greek coverage in The Gamecock, i though I would oppose such coverage as was commonplace v until the late sixties. In reading old Gamecocks one would believe that everyone on campus was a Greek. The coverage was extensive but ] trivial, ranging from the i comparison or Greek GPRs to ] Greek bingo games. Old ] Garnet & Blacks are no better. Greeks seemed to dominate the rest of the student body, when actually then, as now, i iney were a minority. i Yes, we are moving location ? 7022 Tw Malh on Ananct 1ct - ~0 serve your needs ai for you.
