i Housing A senate bill making it mandatory that all finance bills be sent to the treasurer before senate action was given approval by Gale. There have been past problems with money spent through senate finance bills that the treasurer was not aware of, Gale said. Gale said the Student Allocations Commission's current guideline's bill is an "ambiguous mess." All funding for SG travel have been cut, Gale said. Past administrations have proposed as much as $3,500 for travel and that could not exist in this year's budget. The Speaker's Bureau was not funded by SG this year, Wilsford said. University Union's Ideas and Issues Committtee got $10,000 from SAC. This should be sufficient funding to get the national speakers the committee has planned, Wilsford added. mmmmmmmammmmmmmmmmgmmmmmama STUB MVW is now a i appiical appoiri tc I Univers COMM come by J I Mon-Fri, AWWWVWVWMAWiWWi f 1 ^ i; 4rn Wfek ? Plans are being made for my taking over the role of clerk of the senate, Bell said. A constitutional amendment might be proposed to make this official, she said. The constitution is designed to make the SG secretary an executive officer to manage paper work, Bell said. Among many other things the secretary must correct the inadequate filing system, she said.
