Organizations seek volunteers From Staff Reports Two USC volunteer groups are looking for people to help with charity projects this semester. Project Cause needs students to man a booth at the South Carolina State Fair. Project Cause is a group involved in recruiting foster parents for orphans from the Columbia area. Anyone who can be available for a few hours during the week of Oct. 17 to 25 can call the Office of Child Advocacy at 777-4666. Carolina Cares will need a minimum of 500 volunteers in the first week of December. This is a one-day project in which students, faculty, staff and administration will go out into the Columbia area to collect clothing, furniture, money and other materials for various community charities. Anyone who wants to help can call 777-8810.
