Presented at the Coliseum by Beach Club Promotions, the concert begins at 8:30 p.m. John Hammond, a blues artist of many years will open the show. Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Mar shall Tucker Band (from Spar tanburg, S.C.) both play a good Southern sound, similar to that of Wet Willie and the Allman Brothers Band. Tickets are on sale at the Carolina Coliseum BOX Office. The Barry White, Love Unlimited and the Love Unlimited Orchestra Concert which was scheduled to appear at the Coliseum tomorrow evening has been cancelled. The soul concert was cancelled Wednesday when it was announced White was suf fering from a throat irritation.
