The committee may also examine the new grading system recently passed by the Faculty Senate and send recommendations to the Senate concerning it. Logan said she thinks it is unfair for faculty members to wait until after drop date to give a test. "If I am taking a course and think I might pull a C, I'll drop it and take it later when maybe I can make better and get more GPR points," Logan said. "In my opinion the Faculty Senate would be reluctant to adopt anything stronger than a recommendation and certainly not legislative action, such as a law, requiring professors to give tests before the drop date," Hardin said.
