Fine performances by Lee Marvin, the unconquerable Vivien Leigh, and "Wild Wild West's" Michael Dunn make attending this movie something to do on a cold - evening. Monday LA DOLCE VITA - With Bergman Week over, Federico Fellini displays his directing talents on campus with this film concerned with the futility of modern Roman high society. Marcello Mastroianni stars as a gossip columnist who sees his life in this shallow society as wor Albums reviewed -From Page 7 released "Mad Dog" to coincide with their upcoming American tour. The album is a tremendous disappointment. Entwhistle has always had a flair for the mondo-bizarro. On his first solo venture, "Smash Your Head Against the Wall," he ex plored vengea ce, alcoholism and gullibility. Then came "Whistle Rhymes," with insight into voyeurism, temper tantrums and nightmares. "Rigor Mortis" was a halfway point between where he was and where he is now and had some intriguing Entwhistle song structures and some pure '50's rock n' roll. "Mad Dog" is (with all cynicism intended) just what the world needs, yet another '50's style rock n' roll band. Hypnotist to come Chicago hypnotist Edwin L. Baron, a pioneer in using hypnosis as an aid to medicine, will demonstrate the science to students on February 24 at the Golden Spur at 8 p.m. The demonstration will be sponsored by the University Union's Special Programs Com mittee. Baron recently made front page news by putting an East Gary, Indiana mother into a five-day trance to rid her of such things as nervousness, insomnia, lack of appetite and a rash on her hands. He has also used hypnotism to entertain audiences across the country by putting willing subjects through a series of stunts after first placing them in a hypnotic ste. t Express thless, but can't change. This is a top-notch espionage tale set in South American during World War II with Ingrid Bergman marrying a spy (played by Claude Rains) to aid the U.S. and her real fellow, Cary Grant. A frank, tense, well acted thriller. Wednesday SERPICO - Being an honest cop in a big city ain't no fun. Al Pacino stars. Coming Feb. 27-29 for $1.00 THE TURKEY - The plot centers around the adventures of a self proclaimed film expert, who after two years of keeping his eyes trained on unsuspecting newspaper writers, becomes an addict because of his feeble at tempts at great articulate film analysis, half heartedness, and general cinematic ignorance.
