Football prospects Carolina head football coach Jim Carlen announced the signing of two standout linebackers to athletic grant in aids. Quay Farr, of Cowpens High in South Carolina, and Bill Janus, of Miami Edison High in Florida, were both All-State selections. The two new additions to the Gamecock football squad bring to 12 the total numbers of recruits signed. Seven of the 12 are either defensive linemen or linebackers. Three others are defensive backs.
