Leventis, beginning his second semester as presidentj One reason for sta reaction to SGA was the executive and legi said "respect has increased for the student government from the administration and some from the students.." A reason for this, he said, is "we've tried to help individuals." Leventis, who served as a senator and as vice-president of SGA, com pared earlier semesters with last fall. "Our persuasive power's increased," he said, "and really that's all we have." He explained that SGA is similar to a recommendation body which goes through the higher administrative chan nels.' .A lack of student input could be hampering SGA's potential, Leventis said. Leventis said he tries to find new ideas to work on, and wants more ideas from students.
