Three senators have been
removed this school year because
of violating attendance
regulations, according to
President of the Senate Leigh
Leventis.
Under senate legislation,
senators are only allowed three
unexcused absences from their
weekly meetings. The period for
these absences, Leventis said, is
the whole term of each senator,
which covers the fall and spring
semesters.

Emfinger said he expected to

Some of the agencies students
will be working in are The Florida

Out of that list, two senators
have already missed the number of
unexcused absences allowable.
Concerning them, Leventis said he
would check into the matter.
Since the senate fall elections,
three senators have resigned,
three have been removed because
of the unexcused absence rule and
one has graduated. The three

absences for such things as
sickness, a class conflict, or a job.
The role of the senate for the

The role for the same period also
