Colul By Mark Leary Sports Writer Many former Carolina Rugby Club players have left the team and formed a new club--the Columbia Greys--which is not associated in any way with USC. Former Carolina players Nat Ewell and Bob Grondahl said the reason for the new club's for mation was a division among players of USC's club. "The reason myself and many others left was that the Carolina team was taking the fun out of the game," Ewell said. "PeoDle were divided intofactions. "The attitud was just bad." Grondahl, who is often out spoken, said, "One of the reasons that I left the USC team was that I iidn't like some of the policies of the University team. The team is expected to repeat as state champions after returning six girls from last year's squad. Coach Kitty Parrot feels she has depth at every seeding and com nented, "I am very optimistic of our chances of winning the singles and doubles titles in the state tournament once again." The state tournament is a long way off and USC has 15 games remaining on its schedule. Friday USC plays Georgia at the P. E. Center courts where all its home matches are played.
