Acclaimed Pianist To Perform At USC Pianist William Doppman, who has won national acclaim both as a touring recitalist and soloist with more than fifty orchestras, will perform Tuesday as guest recitalist of the University of South Carolina Department of Music. Doppman will perform five selections in recital at 8 p.m. in Fraser Hall on the corner of Senate and Hen derson streets. The public is invited. Doppman will perform works of Sweelinck, Mozart, Schumann, Scriabin and an original composition, "Five Studies," which he composed in 1969: Doppman has been active in commissioning new music for the piano and has introduced works of Stravinsky, Samuel Barber, Ross Lee Finney and George Crumb. He has completed four tours of Europe and was featured guest artist for the 1969 International Music Festival in Hong Kong.
