N ew International MOSCOW- About 12 Soviet Jews demonstrated outside Moscow's central synagogue to protest the Kremlin's refusal to let the group emigrate to Israel. The group of demonstrators wore yellow Stars of David as they remained in front of the synagogue for over an hour without trouble from the police. "Jews in the past have had to wear yellow Stars of David in concentration camps and we have adapted this tactic to show our protest against the government's emigration policy," the UPI reported one of the demonstrators as saying.
