Jones E> BY ERNIE KASTNER Gamecock Staff Writer The only fees directly related to the student activity fees that were raised last year were for the improvement of health services, according to Thomas F. Jones, USC President. Tim McConnell, senate president, said in an interview last week that the fees were raised without the senate knowing about them. Health services -are not consi dered part of the student activity fees, Jones said. The raise in fees was needed to hire more doctors, improve facilities and to make all health services more adequate to fit the needs of students.
