C. 29208 Monday, November 20, 1972 Ie Bobby Marino, in his first var Students killed Two USC students from Columbia were killed in a traffic accident Friday night near St. Matthews. The S. C. Highway Patrol identified them as James Palmer Osmundson and Cindy Maureen Siple. A Newberry College student, Barbara Lashley, was also killed in the accident. According to the patrol, a tractor-trailer truck was traveling north on U. S. 601 when the driver realized he was heading in the wrong direction. He turned off to another road to travel south when the car, a convertible, ran under the side of the truck, patrolmen said. The car was a total loss.
