Dr. Davis will supervise the activities of the seven regional campuses of the University and all of f-campus courses. He is presently vice president for advanced studies and research and Dean of the Graduate School. Under the plan, the College of Arts and Science, established 1912, will be reorganized into the Colleges of Arts and Letters, Science and Mathematics, and Social and Behavioral Sciences. These will be identified with the Office of the Vice Provost for Liberal Disciplines. Dr. George M. Reeves has been named acting dean of the College of Arts and Letters; Dr. O. F. Schuette, acting dean .of the College of Science and Mathematics; and Dr. Robert G. Landen, acting dean of the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. The acting deans will serve until permanent appointments are made.
