Reeves, associate dean of the University of South Carolina Graduate School since 1968, has been appointed head of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures. A member of the University faculty since 1953, Dr. Reeves has also served as chairman of USC's program in comparative literature since 1965. Dr. Reeves succeeds Dr. David G.
