The Gamecocks will enjoy a distince height advantage over their visitors. Seven-foot center Danny Traylor has an average of 14.7 points and 11.4 rebounds. Tom Riker, 6-11, has a team-leading average of 19 points and is also grabbing over 11 rebounds per game. Rick Aydlett, 6-7 and the other USC frontcourt starter, has collected 10.9 points and seven rebounds every game. "We have not played anyone with South Carolina's size,"~ Nichols said, "and I don't know if we can overcome their height advantage." At the guard positions Toledo starts 6-3 Tim Harman and 6-0 Bob Conroy. Neither are scoring threats, as Harman's 6.6 and Conroy's 4.8 scoring averages would indicate. John Hodak, a 5-11j sophomore with an 8.4 scoring , is the Rocket's top guard replacement. For the Gamecocks, Kevin Joyce is averaging 18 points and 3.8 assists at one guard post.
