UNLV has won eight straight, carrying a 12-7 record into the game. Coach John Bayer's Rebels are led in scoring by 6-1 senior guard Booker Washington, who is hitting at a 21.8 clip for the season. An excellent outside shooter, Washington also paced UNLV last year with a 24.4 mark. Vying with Washington for high-scoring honors is sophomore Bob Florence.
