Iowa a 'rugged after l By GARYWEST Sports Writer Iowa head coach, Dick Schultz, anticipates another "rugged schedule" against their usual Big Ten opponents and five other conference champions including UCLA and South Carolina. The Hawkeyes posted a 10-15 record last year largely behind the scoring of All Big Ten guard Fred Brown, who averaged at a 27.6 clip. But Brown has since graduated io the ABA and Iowa must find someone to carry the scoring load. Seven let termen are back ihough, including their second leading scorer and top rebounder seven foot, 220 pound Keven Kunnert. Ken Grabinskia 6-6 forward who averaged 8.9 and was second behind Kunnert in rebounding and also 6-5 Sam Williamsan 8.2 scorer. Other lettermen include 5-10 guard Gary Lusk an 8.9 scorer, Lynn Rowat a 6-2 guard-forward who averaged 6.2, Glenn Angelino a 6-3 guard with a 4.4 average and Joe Gould a 6-7 forward with a 3.3 average. Coach Schultz expects added sirength irom three sophomores and a juniot college transfer Rick Williams, a 6-3 giard who averaged 23.4. All three sophomores were prep All Americas and should help the front court with their size. Two of 'hei measure 6-8, Harold Sullinger and Jim Collins who averaged 22.6 and 19.0 respectively is freshmen.
