Broadcasting non-stop until this goal is reached, the station will use the money to support 10 children from all over the world "adopted" by USC. $144 is required to support one child for one year. Two or more of the children may be in the same family. Manee and Aumpun Chitkwon, two sisters from Thailand, were unable to attend school for several years due tu lack of educational expenses. Manee, 12, is in the fourth grade and lists her favorite school subject as reading. Her chores at home include sweeping the floor, and her favorite past time is skipping. Manee's younger sister Aumpun is 10 years old, but she is only in the first grade due to a delayed education. Like her sister, Aumpun enjoys reading. She helps around the house by dusting the chairs and likes to play group games. Two more sisters, Debora and Delma Soares da Silva, are from Brazil. Debora, who is 10 years old and in the second grade, enjoys arithmetic and playing house. She also helps look after the smaller children in her home which in cludes her younger sister, Delma. who is seven. Delma is in kin dergarten, where her favorite subject is coloring and playing with dolls. Then Yuen Onn, from Singapore was placed in a home after his mother died and his father was unable to support the family. Five years old, he dusts the chairs around his house and attends kindergarden. His favorite subject is nursery rhymes and he enjoys playing with toy cars. From Brazil, Ezequiel Soares da Silva Filho is nine years old and in pre-primary school. His chores at home include carrying water and his favorite past times are drawing and flying kites. Tseng Kuang-Ming from Taiwan joined the program after his father died and his mother was unable to find work. Ten years old, Tseng is in the third grade and enjoys Chinese and playing ball. His brother, Tseng Shih-Ming, is eight years old and in the second grade. Shih-Ming, is eight years old and in the second grade. Shih-Ming enjoys the same hobbies as his brother and they both help at home by sweeping the house. Then Yuen Fah is four years old and from Singapore.
