'The University has surpassed its all-time football season ticket record with three days remaining before the 1971 season opener against Georgia Tech. Last year, The Garmecocks' final season ticket count was 23,493. Late this week, 1971 season tickets committed -- including 2,500 date tickets held for students -- reached 2:1,913. The ticket office has money on deposit for more than 21,000 season tickets.
