Spilhaus, inventor of the >athythermograph, an important instrument in oceanography research, is a former dean of the Institute of Technology at the University of Minnesota and president of the Franklin Institute, Philadelphia. L o aus has been associated the Woods Hole, Mass., Oceanographic Institution as a physical oceanographer since 1937. He also has taught at New York University. Cassiday, Jr. Commandant of the Air Force ROTC will be the principal speaker at the Naval-Air Force ROTC Joint Commissioning Ceremony according to Col Joe N. Swanger, Professor of Aerospace. Studies. Since enrollment is limited those in terested should obtain permission from Professor Wotton 777-5195>. SUMMER PRIORITIES On June 9th and July 20th. Student Senate will conduct hearings for registration priorities for summer school. Hearings for Summer Session I will be held on June 9th in the Russell House. Hearings for Summer Session II will be held on July 18th in the Russell House. All applicants are asked to bring a signed statement from their employer containing the number of hours to be worked as well as which hours. The show will open June 28 and run through Aug. 14, playing six nights a week with Sundays dark. except for July 1-2 and July 29-31. Productions will be staged at the air-conditioned Myrtle Beach Convention Center. and the USC 'Iheatre company also plans to produce a children's musical the week of July 19-24.
