Forty-five inches long the scarf displays two gamecocks on each end. At first glance the center seems a maze of lines in garnet and black. But when these lines are brought into focus they form a third gamecock. Miss Shuler calls the third gamecock, ""a stylized gamecock." "Stylizing is a way of shifting the lines of an object about," she said. "That way you can produce a picture which is not exactly what the real object looks like. But the object can still be recognized." A blonde senior from West Columbia, Miss Shuler first heard of the Educational Foundation's idea for producing a scarf in her C advertising design class last fall. a At the time she was working on a t stylized travel poster of the Grand a Canyon and decided to 4ry the same effect on si gamecockt. Her finished product is a 45-inch by 16-inch scarf in acetate twill. The scarfs are now on sale at the Education Foundation located at the University House, 1731 College St. They are $3.50 if ordered by (IF I HAD SAID SI HAVE NOTICEI Now That I Have A Reminder Shimmy's 1111 Lady Street (e.me in and mec frlensdlnt Itestari Tlown?
