Crunch,
Ruggers fi

NWe've had the best season
ever," said Jack Clasen, defining
the rugby team's progress this
season, which ended Saturday.
Saturday's game, a 16-8 loss to
the South's finest rugby team,
Georgia, left the team's record at
4-3.
"We didn't have the best won
loss record ever but, according to
some players who have been with
the team since it's beginning, we
could have beaten the othe USC
squads anytime," Clasen added.

Scoring for USC in the first half
were Burke Hayes with a try
(three points), Dr. Frank Walton
with a conversion (two points) and
Bill Black had a try.
In the second half the USC
ruggers were shut out, with
Georgia scoring eight more to
leave the field victorious.
The leading scorers for USC this
season were: Dr. Walton-32 points,
Andy Gallin-15 and Clasen-12. The
total for the squad was double their

48.
There will be only three ruggers
not returning from this year's
squad. Clasen feels that next year
should be even better. Plus, some
B team members will be moving
up to the A team.
The B team had a 4-0-2 standing
for the season with John Rentiers
as hjgh-#crqr.

the High Point Swim Club in North

D)uring Gentry's three year reign
at Georgia. his squad broke every
