Rhodes, nicknamned "Tailspin1 Tllommy by his high school tean, mates because of his scra1mblin in the backfield, led the Iliddic to a 21-14 victory over the ClIen son frosh last week. The 6-2, 193-pound back fron Norfolk, Va., was named All State for two ycars at Great Bridge High. His high school coach, Billy O'Brien, has com piled a coaching record of 63-5-2 over a seven-year span. One of the main things a freshman quarterback has to learn is the snap from center which is different in college and bigh school ball.
