QX*ta What a weekend! Everyone is certainly taking advantage of the marvelous weather, and we might as well live now because in a couple of weeks we will all be in hiber nation-c r a in m i g like mad for those finals . . . Yeech . . . what a horrible thought. As usual there were parties ga lore Friday and Saturday. After their big formal, a bunch of ATO's made a path straight to the beach and there they celebrated the al most finale of another successful year. Also seen walking along the shores of the Atlantic were the Phi Ep's. They, too had a gala cele bration. The K a p p a Sig's made their trai! northward. They had a formal, also, and one boy wore his tux all weekend. He had to pay so mIUch money for it, that he de cided he would make it worth while. J u b i 1 e e at the University of North Carolina was a big success, and many USC coeds went there for the fun and parties. A group of adventurous Carolina Men and Women blazed a traii to Beaufort in a 1950 jeep called the "Desert Hoot." It couldn't go over .15 miles per hour, but they made it in a record breaking four hours. For tntertainment they sang songs, one of the favorites was the Mickey Mouse song, which was sung by all, and in high spirits. All in all, it w4 a completely unique experi rnce. Then there is the boy who lives in 11 dorm who had a dream a few weeks ago. For seven nights in a row he dreamed that an Eastern airliner is going to crash near the ' ndergradnate Library on May 7 at 00 p.m. They even called the airport, and sure enough a plane s scheduled to land around 9:00 that night. So. this campus will be DEADLINE The deadline for copy for the society and feature pages is Monday at 8 p.m. . . . news turned in earliest will be given priority. Worried about the Draft? See you at the movies, my name is chicken. If you missed the Blanket Con cert Friday night you really missed hearing a good group. The Asso ciation performed in front of a sur prisingly large gathering of stu dents and put on a great show. For those unfortunate people with the jug who were sitting in front of the speaker, Sorry. And Josh White Jr. turned out to be just as entertaining as his father. Have you noticed a few people wandering around the school with pale faces, and that look on their faces like they are going to blow it any minute? Well, if you had to eat tuna fish on Matzo for eight days, you wouldn't be in the best of spirits either. Even though you probably lost an hour of sleep on Saturday night, Daylight Savings Time has some excellent advantages. For instance, you can stay out and play longer, anl you can purchase the liquids to play with later. Of course for those of you that prefer the enter tainment of the drive-in, you'll have to pick up your dates a little later. So, now it's time for another wild and wonderful weekend, with more house parties at the beach, and don't forget to keep your eye in the sky Sunday night. I)o you really believe in things like that happening? It is possible, you know. Audios, amigos .. . IAL'AI.ERED Kr y Hardy (ZTA p to David Sen seney (PiKA).
