Daytona j Drinking Intoxicating beverages and fires on the beach and obscene modes of dress are now prohibited by law in Daytona Beach, Fla. In a letter "To students plan ning to visit Daytona Beach," Police Ohief A. O. Folsom, Jr. cautions students about how to conduct themselves if they visit the city during the spring recess, March 24-28. { Chief Folsom emphasizes in the letter that Daytona Beach has a new law which prohibits the drinking of intoxicating bev erages on streets, sidewalks or beach. These are the other restric tions: Persons under 21 years old may not have intoxicating beverages in their possession; fires are pro hibited on the beach or any other public property; writings or draw ings on cars that could be con sidered obscene and modes of iress "that could be so consid ered" are prohibited.
