Dr. Salzbi Psycholop Dr. Herman C. Salzberg, a spe cialist in psychotherapy, has joined the University of South Carolina department of psy chology as director of the depart ment's Psychological Service Cen ter. Dr. Salzberg formerly held ad ministrative and teaching posi tions at the Veterans Administra tion Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. Dr. Salzberg, who received th( doctor of philosophy degree from the University of Tennessee, wa. also consulting psychologist to tht Georgia State Department of Ed. ucation and state director of vo. cational rehabilitation. The USC Psychological Servicc Center was established last yea as a research, training and clini. cal facility. ROGERS of Dr. George C. Rogers Jr. of the Departiment of History presented a paper in Atlanta this week on A "The Use and Value of Southern Ifistorical Institutions, with Spe- t cial Reference to Writing a His :tory of Georgetown County, South Carolina."
