Whirlwind Involves P1h Fraternity and sorority activity this week includes everybody from pledges to alums in a variety of functions. CHI PSI Chi Psi activated 12 pledges in ceremonies last weekend presided over by a past national president of the fraternity. New brothers are Jim Cauthen, David Carr, Forest Evans, Sig Huitt, Richard Harbeson, Bob Horne, Bill Malone, Rebel Moore, Fred Ortmann, Larry Owen, Tom Reidenbach, and John Weigle. Addressing the new initiates and brothers at a banquet Saturday night was Stanley J. Birge of St. Louis, Mo., past head of Chi Psi nationally. Also attending the banquet were Chi Psi's George Brauer, faculty advisor, and Dean of Administra tion Harold Brunton. PHI DELTA THETA Phi Delta Theta will hold its an nual Founder's Day celebration to morrow with a banquet at the Hotel Jefferson. Fraternity members and guests will also go to the Knights of Columbus for more social activi ties later in the evening. The Counts IV from Charlotte will pro vide music. PHI KAPPA SIGMA Phi Kappa Sigma alumnus Ed Helms will host a barbecue for Phi Kaps and their dates tomorrow afternoon at 4 p.m. at his lake house near Gaston, S. C.
