Passed in last month by IFC, the resolution seeks to improve com munications between IFC and fra ternity pledges. Under the present plan, one pledge will be elected or appointed to represent each fraternity. Ile will be admitted to all IFC general meetings and will be allowed to take part in discussion. Junior IFC officers will in no way take the place of senior IFC members, however, as they will not be allowed to vote. Present IFC officers consist of the execu tive officers, presidents of the fraternities, and fraternity IFC representatives. Each fraternity represented has one vote. Another purpose of the pro gram, according to IFC Rush Chairman Haynes Kendall, is to train pledges in the leadership of their brothers and to familiarize them with the operations of IFC. The idea for the junior IFC of ficer resolution was introduced to IFC executive officers Kendall and Mac Johnston at the National In ter-Fraternity C o n f e r e n c e in Washington, D. C.
