Rushees will pick up bids in Room 205 Russell House between 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. tomorrow, ending an 18 hours' "Silent Period" which begins after each final stag smoker tonight. Bids will be distributed in enve lopes. Rushees will choose the fra ternity which they wish to pledge and return all other cards to IFC officers. Bidding will climax the final and most important week of fraternity rush during which fraternity mem bers have attempted to really get to know rushees. While the "Silent Period" lasts, from 10 p.m. tonight until bidding, no rushee may speak to a fratern ity man, pledge, or alumnus. This is to eliminate outside pressure for the rushee and make his choice of a group easier. After picking up his bid, the candidate must go to the fratern ity house which he has selected to pledge. If he fails to report by 5:30, he will not be allowed to pledge for 60 days. Any rushee who breaks a rush rule will automatically be dropped from rush. If the infraction is seri ous enough, the fraternity goes before a council tribunal. Less serious occurrences are handled by Dean of Men L. Eugene Cooper.
